It's a quality piece of work - deserves to be a part of the forum.

Will it be interactive, i.e. any new gems that FBers concoct can be added? Or will that just become one of the many onorous duties of the overworked and underpaid Moderator?

The thread itself will probably be untouchable, with a separate thread for suggested amendments and updates which can then be edited in if approved.
Probably the best way, I reckon.

Re: The site that hosts the images is having a bit of a spaz...
Lardy sent me the draft to peruse over the weekend. He's done a bloody good job of getting it up to date.
I've actually had an offer of a full wiki-style site for it (mentioned this to lardy too) hosted and all. So maybe things are looking up for it. Happy to serve as an 'editor-at-large' for it, I'm pretty sure our Tozzie friend would be happy to do likewise.
Not wanting to be precious, but I'd like to retain some right to look after it in some way, but I don't want sole reponsibilty, that's why nothing happened on it for so long.

I've been scratching my head trying to work out such an arrangement where you and lard can edit it, but no-one else can, but the only way that's going to happen is if I set up a completely seperate subforum for the glossary - and who's going to bother to check out a subforum with one thread?
Given the work that's gone into it, I reckon it belongs in the main section. So the question is, do I give you both moderator status (which kind of goes against the whole no moderators thing) or - and I think this is probably the best way - should one of you post the glossary, which I'll then sticky and lock, meaning that only whoever posted it (and me) can edit it?
Does that make sense? Seemed like a lot of words...
