He was unplayable on drying pitches - Oval 1968 and Lords 1974 against Pakistan spring to mind, but he managed to take 152 test wickets overseas at a tad over 27, so he was a damn fine allround bowler. Should never have signed for Packer - he was not the same bowler afterwards.

Monty 102 wickets at 32

...so Monty is beating him quite easily.

well done montesaurus...outbowled in the first digs by vettori, he has bounced back with a top effort

I really don't know how England have got so bad at playing spin that bloody Drooper can do this to them. Gooch, Gower and Gatting would be smashing him all over.

We're playing him from the crease that's why, as did NZ to Monty.
