Spivs - 8/46
In a dramatic collapse, NSW after the loss of hatti and fleas (both for the 2nd time) has slumped to 8/46 as its total batting contribution to the match thus far...of course ***thumps noggin*** I forgot the incredible bravery of MacDill and his willingness to put his body behind the line of the ball - when batting and fielding
Their bowlers especially magoo (4.5+) have made a singular contribution...clearly punter held back the new bevan spin ace - fleas - for the 2nd Oz innings

Re: Spivs - 8/46
am not suggesting that will help, but it will be up to hodge, symonds and the tail to set a competitive target...who knows maybe magoo will show even greater fortitude

Re: Spivs - 8/46
While the tone and intent of your post is sad and bloody minded, I can't argue with the facts, h. It was painful to watch last night (until I conceded midway through the middle session and farked off to bed). I can't see MacGill troubling the Windies in this series on that form, putting into question his use from this point on.
Fly Warnie to the Caribbean immediately after the IPL!!!!
So I guess if Podge does help to get us out of trouble then it would be either Jaques or Fleas to make way for the Kid's return.

Nah, give Casson a go. I bet that he will go for less that 4 an over.
Come on Hodge. This is his Test career right here. It's in his hands.

LMAO! Hodge will be on the plane back to India as soon as the Test is completed, regardless of performance.

nah hodgey should not have been there, tho one and a half decent knocks and some decent fielding has helped the Oz cause
the pity is that fleas and magoo should be on the plane together with him...and finally the skullmeister talks sense as in the imperative flying TGM to the caribb post haste,,,maybe if the ACB promises him some decent cigars...
and Skully the poor performance of the team brings no joy to me and it makes me sad...prior to the tour i argued to send the next spiv on the block (hughes) instead of fleas (yes horrie arguing for a spiv)...but it doesn't matter i would be throwing sean marsh n the plane with warnie..

56.5 Bravo to MacGill, OUT, MacGill looking to move away from an expected bouncer. turns out, this is not a hostile one and that he can have a hit, which he does. All he manages is a feeble uppercut to Morton at point. No power at all in the shot
a golden duck for the heroic aquacker of Oz cricket...
spivs all out 11/79...no "last man gets his tucker" for Gump who remained 1n/o

MacDill to Smith, no run, comes down the track, the ball dips rapidly on him and he checks his drive and the ball went in the air but on the side of the non-striker. Haddit thought it would go to the bowler and was getting excited and then remembered Macdill was the bowler

Disapointed in you horrie. This thread was destined for greatness. The longest streak AFAIK of one poster replying to themself in a single thread was 6 by Buttman about 2 months ago.

Horrie always sits in the corner mumbling to himself. And Australia won, so his anti-Spiv gibberish ran out of steam with Gump's Michelle.
