Does Watto doing OK prove that T20 is joke cricket?

Should walk straight into the test team.
As I said previously our depth is enviable. Marsh should end up superior to a large % of players already playing at test level.

I'd say out of that lot Marsh, Pomersbach, D.Hussey and Hilfenhaus have a chance to do well at test level.
Hodge is old and crap = VAUGHAN
Voges is nothing special = BELL
Watson gets injured too often to be considered = FREDDIE
Hopes is a bits and pieces player who isn't good enough with bat or ball for test cricket = COLLINGWOOD
Ronchi is a front foot slogger with a poor technique = for a keeper he does OK with the bat
Katich struggles against high class fast bowling = 99% of players to have played the game
Tait is a wild maverick who has no idea where the ball is going, = HARMISON
White is a slogger with a pretty poor defensive technique. = OK, you got me there.

Surely that non-sarcasm recognition was pure gold?

Hodge is old and crap = VAUGHAN...But Vaughan already has more than 10 test hundreds.
Voges is nothing special = BELL. But Bell is 3 years younger than Voges and has already played 40 tests. Add to that, Bell actually DOES look special. He just needs to stop getting out like a tw*t.
Watson gets injured too often to be considered = FREDDIE. But when Flintoff plays, he is 10 times better than Watson.
Hopes is a bits and pieces player who isn't good enough with bat or ball for test cricket = COLLINGWOOD. I doubt very much that James Hopes will ever score a test double century. In fact I doubt he will ever play a test. Ever.
Ronchi is a front foot slogger with a poor technique = for a keeper he does OK with the bat. Ok yeah that's true. But he's a step down again from Haddin just as Haddin is a step down from Gilchrist.
Katich struggles against high class fast bowling = 99% of players to have played the game. But they don't look like a rabbit in the headlights as much as Katich does.
Tait is a wild maverick who has no idea where the ball is going, = HARMISON. And he's been dropped from the England team. He can at least claim to habe been world class for a short period of time.
White is a slogger with a pretty poor defensive technique. = OK, you got me there.

Nope, not yet.He will probably get into the ODI side first, assuming he stays away from pubs on nights before the game.

Watch out, noelene, if you don't understand taips' posts you'll be accused of NSR again . . .
