Re: Heh
When I worked in Saudi we had a young Saudi girl who would often moderate female consumer focus groups for us. She was a very innocent young thing, somewhat conservative in her upbringing, although not so much so that her parents didn't allow her to pursue a career.
Anyway, her English was good but she generally made a few basic errors in some of the focus group transcripts that she submitted to us, although nothing that would prevent us understanding what she meant. One day though, she submitted the transcripts for some groups that were of young, newly married housewives, the gist of which was that they all loved "cocking for their husbands." "My husband works hard all day, so when he comes home I like to give him some good cocking," "Cocking relaxes me and is what I like doing most, "Sometimes I ask my mother what the best way to cock for my husband is," and so on and so on.
I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at work in all my life as when I read these transcripts, especially when I thought of who wrote it. She never got the joke though.
