Any Australians who play in the unofficial Twenty20 event are banned from taking part in domestic competitions at home.

Good work by CA ...using Indian money to chop out the dead wood

Is CA the only board that bans their players from domestic cricket too? Read, Slogdonki and Nixon play in the ICL and I think they're still allowed to play for their counties.

Bond has been all but banned by New Zealand for joining the ICL.

Actually, it's a stinking sauna of a place to tour but when the tumbleweeds are made of cash, who can resist.

How would you know? If I was an international cricketer these days, a tour of India would probably be the one I most look forward to. Looks like an amazing country.

I thought you were talking about Australia and I'm sure every non Aussie cricketer would agree with me.

Ask Gavin Stevens what he thinks of touring India.

I was being cheeky, SG. It's too long ago to be relevent to any current discussion. Gavin Stevens was a top class batsman for South Australia who might have become a test regular. However, he contracted hepatitis during a tour of India & although he eventually recovered, he never played first class cricket again.
