Real beer. Good Kalamata olives. Zinfandel or a really peppery shiraz. Good steak, done perfectly medium rare. A hot baked jacket potato with generous sour cream. Asparagus, just soft, with a strip of bacon. Old-fashioned vine tomatoes. Rhubarb crumble, or rhubarb meringue pie, with just a little cream, and accompanied by botrytis semillon. Dark chocolate. Freshly ground coffee, x 2. Good music - a mixture of sultry jazz singers and guitar. Candlelight, the smell of that candle being snuffed. Sleep.

and most of all, holidays! ... aren't they grand ... speaking of which, I will be back sometime in November. Shield truce til then, skully? No, I didn't think so. Go the Cats, hang in there Ponting and Co in India, and 'Go Tassie' in 2008-09; I hope we start better than in 2007-2008, when I think we were still hung over from the unexpected triumph in 2006-07. Finally (for now), and just for you furry, BAN INDIA!
