Under-19 WC is currently underway in Kuala Lumpur.

Australia, Eng, Ind, Pak, Ban, NZ, SL and SA have won their first league matches.

Hopefully young Spiv Phil Hughes can show his mettle.

He comes from my regional area on the mid-north coast. My brother knows the Dubbers mid-north coast development officer Brett Rankin, who has had a huge wrap on Hughes (from Macksville) for years and has had a lot to do with his advances through the ranks. Hope the short-arse does good. Early signs are good. Khawaja looked the goods yesty as well.

Re Pup II - early signs are excellent. Without having seen him, his scores suggest he needs to work on his fitness.

Sangawan has done well for Delhi in last Ranji season and was instrumental in them winning the crown after 16 years..
