There is absolutely nothing wrong with good-natured banter but internet forums should not be used to make libellous or scabrous allegations nor are they the place for retarded verbal bullies like you and your partner-in-crime. Noone is forcing you to participarte in this forum or peruse every thread or read every post but if you do use the forum you should extend a measure of courtesy and respect to your fellow members. If you have any problem with the quantity or quality of posts there is a perfectly reasonable procedure to use rather than setting out deliberately to destroy threads by posting garbage.

If you think you can intimidate me into silence and quiescence just as you have intimidated others then I'm afraid you'd better think again. Caving in to a few thugs and bullies with an exaggerated sense of their moral "superiority" is what happened in Germany in 1933 and we all know where that particular road led. My parents didn't go without bananas and oranges for 6 years just so I should truckle to the likes of you. If you want the forum shut down altogether just carry on behaving in the way you are doing. It's your choice. In the meantime if you cannot post any on-topic material I suggest you and your kamerad leave this thread alone and, preferably, set up your own forum for yourselves and the rest of the herrenvolk.

And what I posted was good natured banter attempting to lighten the mood of the whole Disney Channel affair. I didn't set out to deliberately destroy the thread, you've done a quality job of that yourself. The flare-up is quite frankly one of the biggest over-reactions I've seen on here. Well, sorry to hear that mate, I don't particularly feel in any way responsible however if that's what you were alluding to. I haven't said anything libellous about anyone on this forum and it all kicked off before I'd had chance to say much. If you feel I've said anything libellous on here, tell me in public or in private and I'll make sure I don't say FA like that again - because it's all been unwittingly. But if I start trying to second guess who may or may not bristle at such and such a post and start deleting everything to be on the safe side, well firstly it'll be more effort than I'm prepared to put in, and secondly it'll make the forum as randomly censored as the one we all left.

All this began when someone who shall be nameless decided to set himself up as Censor-in-Chief of Morals on this forum and started accusing other forummers of serious criminal offences because something had been been posted he didn't approve of. Thanks to him a perfectly harmless and entertaining thread was removed.

Now there's an objection about posts that are too long-winded from one of his cronies who has hitherto never taken any interest in the subject of this thread which has been filled with many contributions from others that I found (almost) as stimulating to read as Skully's or Wide Wally's posts on stats. Consequently it has now come close to being ruined because of a couple of idiots carrying on a personal vendetta against me. I'm not the one against free speech, I take the position that if it's free I should take as much of it as possible. However there appears to be a few on here who wish to impose their view of what should be posted and how long it should be on everyone else and if they don't comply they are immediately abused and an attempt is made to either browbeat them into submission or silence.

The easiest thing would be for me to just ignore the whole thing, leave the neo-Nazis in control and let them intimidate someone else until there's nobody but them left. Well I don't operate like that. I am not some Asian woman they can make break down in tears. As far as I'm concerned they can go to hell first before I'm shifting. Meantime, let's get back to the subject matter of the thread before the idiots gatecrashed the proceedings.
