Prior doesn't drive a Porsche and never has.

Well, I thought Smith would be the first person to captain his team 100 times, now Fleming is an ex flem ball.

England to continue to perform like overpaid losers they are! And for the constant drivel that comes out of Yawn's mouth to continue.

My prediction

England to lose howwibly in NZudland and Vaughan to be dismissed as skipper.

Rob Key named new England skipper in the spirit of all things Billy Bunter

England sack Moores and appoint Roland from Grange Hill as new fitness coach.

England draw with NZ in the return series and SA win their 1st test series in England for 40 years with Captain Sniffy returning to form and blitzing our new pop gun attack for a couple of double hundreds...

Rolands probably alive but not at Grange Hill to be fair.

And Bell to be appointed VC after KP decides to move back to SA and try to qualify for them

Your 2008 predictions..........

The sun will rise in the East and set in the West ...
beyond that, it's all guesswork.
Especially Baz's wild prediction that Slurrey will win the CC !!
Though Tim Ambrose for the Porsche driving "Gob" would be welcomed ...

It might have been a guess - but it was an educated one - Surrey finished last season very strongly, and they have only lost players who, at best, made a marginal contribution on the field.

Dello wrote:My 2008 predictions that probably won't come true but I'll keep my fingers crossed anyhow:

Adil Rashid makes the step-up from promising leg-spinning all-rounder to Test match sex machine.

Chris "100% Barbadian" Jordan decides that he's English enough to throw his hat in with the honkies.

Owais Shah gets two Tests in a row.

Sajid Mahmood flips a switch in his head and suddenly starts combining pace and late swing with something bordering on accuracy.

Someone - anyone - takes charge of the England wicket-keeping position by scoring a few runs and catching the majority of what comes their way.

Andrew Flintoff's ankle is miraculously cured and he's able to resume his career.

Strausser gets his groove back.

Michael Vaughan, Paul Collingwood and Peter Moores run out of "positives" to list for England's losing performances and start getting real by accepting that they're a declining force who need their problems addressed rather than papered over with inane platitudes.

Graveney fooks off back to his tanning salon, never to be seen again.

Well we've achieved one of these already and its not even February, so maybe 2008 will be better than we thought!

I'm cautiously optimistic that England will start to rebuild this year (somewhat due to a weak NZ allowing us to gain confidence). I reckon the Test Series will finish:

New Zealand 1 - 2 England
England 3 - 0 NZ
England 1 - 1 SA
