Is this the first series where both teams have captains named Brendan? Must be a record. Only other instance I can find where both team captains had same first name was the 1890 Oval Test where Grace and Murdoch skippered although neither habitually used their full first names. However, as always, I stand to be corrected.

Also the one-off Test between Walter Hadlee's New Zealand side and Wally Hammond's England tourists at Christchurch in March 1947 provides another instance.

They should just award it to NZ now & head off to the Pub.

Zimbots will win this comfortably.

If you think this is bad, I read that there's a five match Zim-South Africa Twenty20 series some time in June.
