Online "Dating"
What is the craic with online "dating"? Is it normal? Has anyone here tried it? I considered it once, but thought I'd meet psychos. Then I realised that I've gone out with psychos more often than not in real-life, and as for what they think of me ... I still cannot get over this squirmy feeling inside that it's f*cking weird. And seeing as I'm not the most beautiful person in the world, either, I'm probably a long way-off being suited for it. I know most of you guys are fugly as well, but I don't really see anybody on here who's an online dating sort. Except for Monkey, although I've kind of got him down as the online 'date and rape' kind of guy. Not that I'm casting aspersions on the guy or anything. Nothing wrong with behaviour like that as long as you keep it discreet. So, what's it all about? Normal? New-age hippy sh!t? A vessel to help the socially retarded masses, who constitute most of the population, to reproduce?
I'm going to say the last two put together. I know a guy who uses these online "dating" websites to get his next cheap f*ck. He's not somebody I look up to. Maybe I should. Maybe I'm the fool here. Maybe I need some reconditioning. I'll get back to you.

I just checked and I do still have that photo of you.
Perhaps this is some indication of the kind of people that you might meet on the internet.
Since I am now the possessor of one photo of you, and your archaic name I could always just set you up on a dating site, see how you go.
I'll get back to you...

Re: Online "Dating"
Well, having been in relationship for such a long time it's hard to fathom - it wasn't really the 'in' thing when I was Derek. I was too busy trying to bang real life humans to be on the internet back then, I'd say. But yeah, if things weren't going well in the outside world I'd have given it a try, I reckon. I know a couple of very nice girls were on a dating site, they just hadn't had much luck so thought they'd try that. I expect like anything there's some gems in the rough. Fact is if you've exhausted usual avenues what else can you do? I heard somewhere the other day that we're the nation with the highest ratio of online people. There's got to be some who've had enough of the usual sh!t (work, pub, apparently supermarket) and aren't child murderers
Alternatively, you could go on fabswingers like a mate of mine did. He got quite a bit of play. Still he posted his apparently large dongle on his profile. And he was bi.

Re: Online "Dating"
I tried it once. Nothing really came of it. I joined a website in the days (around 2003) when some of them were still (partly) free. Met a couple of chicks, screwed one of them, was shocked at the disparity between the photos and real life appearance of the other, decided it was a bit of a lottery and not really worth all the "reassurance that i'm not, and you're not, a psycho" chat before physically meeting, and decided it wasn't really worth it.
Probably one of those things that "everybody should try once" these days, though. It's become pretty mainstream. I saw a poll recently which showed that 60% of adults have tried it, or intend to try it. That figure probably would have been around 20% 10 years ago.

No, no, you're alright. It's comforting enough in terms of my looks to think that my picture is used by middle-aged men like you for their extra special masturbation sessions. Whilst that was not my most flattering picture, I have been considered for various modeling opportunities in the past. Clearly, I have something. Apparently, it's my lips. I guess they must be seen as good blowjob lips by paedophiles.
Those lips again, Clamson, just for perverts like you:

Re: Online "Dating"
I've definitely got you down as a bi-curious/bisexual guy, Monkey. Me? Well, I've talked about that sh*t before. My sexuality is far from black and white. But I'm 93% hetero. Imagine being a homosexual online dater though. You have to worry about rapists, murderers AND psychos. At least when you're a bloke meeting a girl, you're the one who has to live up to those stereotypes. I think I'm gonna try out some online dating, and dig out my chloroform, rohypnol, and knife collection. What do you reckon?

Re: Online "Dating"
Well, if you take along a strap on to meet a bird, at least she can bang you up the shitbox.... it evens up the score. Y'know, like 'don't worry love, here's a strap on with dangling balls, whoever passes out from the rohypnol first gets a sore arse.'
As for me, I'd probably say I've had more opportunity than most to have some bi thing going on but in truth blokes disgust me. They disgust me with their arses and scrotums and stubble. I'm not being homophobic, I mean I disgust myself. I'm disgusting.

My r00table sister-in-law scored a grouse bloke via on-line dating, after years of putting up with a lazy "gonna" bludger, who she divorced a few years back. Good luck to her.
