Sunil Narine

Who the hell is he and why is he worth $700000?

I know the IPL auction throws up some odd results but this is someone without an IT20 to his name. Decent results for T&T but still.

WI Fan mentioned that he took 13 wickets in a WI domestic game recently.

Except when playing us, where he will no doubt cause havoc.

Which was pretty impressive because it was a one-dayer.

I hereby nickname him "Sub".

From the IPL thread...

WIFAN wrote:Russell is potentially an extremely exciting cricketer, he just needs to add a yard of pace to his bowling. He is already a very dangerous lower/middle order batsman and a ridiculously good fielder (he can run the 100 metres in 11 seconds).

In other news, Sunil Narine has just taken match figures of 13/39 in the opening round of our 4 day competition. I seriously hope he continues like this and gets in the test side, he and Bishoo will be deadly together. Our bowling is coming a long very nicely indeed.

Ah, I see in that match the bowler who is the reason why we'll NEVER win the Ashes again was playing ----> 'JO Dawes'.

Not sure why they left the 'E' off though.

Fair go Trev, it's not like he's Shean Ronald Bell.
