Can't imagine it myself, seems to be more hype about the t20 this week at ANZ. Of course, if such a huge crowd is already expected for this match, why did I receive an email today flogging tickets to the match?

And the MCG is the home of cricket in this country, it's the only logical venue.

The ODIs are going we may have to have it at North Sydney Oval just so the ground looks full

It's all a power play between Gilbert and the SCG. He doesn't want to pay as much to use the ground so he's threatening to take his business elsewhere.

ANZ will get good crowds initially because of the novelty but then people will stay away because it is sh1thole.

Aye, seen it with the Swans..the Marquee matches initially drew the crowds to Stadium Aus, and then the novelty value wears off and the crowds return to closer to normal levels.
I assume Stadium Aus management is giving a pay off to Cricket Australia and Cricket NSW to entice it away from the SCG.

I don't think they would be paying for the games but they would be giving them a sweet deal.
