I didn't see much of the cricket yesterday ...but I did see some argy bargy when E. was in the 90's ...If I was a journo forced to watch the crap put up by the Bannies I would have been asking questions of what went on ...If E.has brought up the "sledge" without prompting then you have to wonder what is wrong with the journos...If he is answering a question then maybe he should have been a bit more discrete or maybe Hilf just shouldnt have said anything that he could get dobbed in for ...I would hope the umpires were complained to if the remarks were as bad as E. implies

Sledges take all sorts of forms ... amusing and degrading, and let's face it, we've all seen and heard (even the worst) before through cricket over the years.

E. is the first cricketer to my knowledge to bring the sledge issue up in front of journos. What happened to "what happens on the field stays on the field"

That deed in itself, is quntish to the extreme and challenges E.s mentality to future sledging. S**t, I wish I was aware of what Hilf said - I'd email it to every international cricket squad immediately .... and endorse its use!
