SA squads for NZ; Prince's test career could be over

JP preferred to him. Only odd name in the test squad appears to be Robin Peterson who for all intents and purposes has always struck me as being a bit Bob Cunis.

Levi in the T20 opening role ahead of Sooky who's been dropped but retained for the ODIs.

Could be a sneak preview of what might tour England. Marchant de Lange also joins Steyn, Morkel, Philander and Tsotsobe as quicks for the tests.

Was never in any doubt, SA selectors just as intransigent as ours. Doesn't appear to matter how many catches he drops or how few runs he scores.

Interestingly enough they took a punt on Boucher when he was twenty yet they don't appear to be willing to reward a few in the wings who on prima facie value couldn't do any worse.

Davey Jacobs? He looked a bit rubbish at the top level.

Think Davey Jacobs who got injured recently was only a T20 slogger. But they Dane Vilas and Heino Kuhn (twentieish) while they wait for de Kock to mature.

He had a good champions league and picked up an IPL spot. He never did much before or after thet series. And he's a manufactured keeper.
