How many wickets will Saeed Ajmal get in this series?

Well, it's super mega-turner Saeed versus not very good players of spin, England. There's going to be blood. He has seven already, but there are 5 more innings for England to torture us with. He just recorded his Test best figures - you know he'll do it again before the series is out. Personally, I'd open the bowling with him and just leave him on at one end all innings. In fact, with Rehman and Hafeez, I'd probably never use a seamer against England.

He chucks but his 7 wickets were due to his bowling and England's ineptitude against the straight spin and yes, he's one of the best spinners around.

Aye, agreed. The only actual problems I've had with him is that he should've been a regular in their side long ago. Kaneria was moribund a long time before he got binned.

Using the ICC's guideline of straightening becoming visible to the naked eye when a bowler straightens his arm past 15 degrees, I thought he pinged every type of delivery.

It's up to the ICC to stamp it out, but they refuse to. There's no point expecting or even asking cricket boards around the world to stamp it out, because there are some that won't. Alas, chucking will never be eradicated until the ICC has been replaced with people that actually have a spine.

Aye, must've been awful to be James Kirtley to get so maligned in a witch hunty sort of way, getting remedial action only to turn on the TV to see Shabbir Ahmed chuck Pak to victory. Shabbir chucked more than most.
