Are you totally joking? Yeah, give him a sentence that's a bit less / the same as / more years than kiddy-fiddlers, bank robbers et al. Why? Because he instructed two of his bowlers to bowl three poxy no balls. Ridiculous.

Ahhhh, yes, I get the correlation.. 7 years maximum sentence... that's cool.

Just got to think about it really....

Racially-aggravated assault - ABH or GBH = 7 years. Attempted sexual intercourse with girl under 13 = 7 years. Telling two arseclowns to bowl three no balls between them = 7 years.

All as f*cking heinous as each other, I'm sure....

Aye. It sends quite a message. Attempt to rape a child or fix the result of 3 / 2700 balls in a cricket match, now I've written it like that it's very 'samey' crime indeed. I feel silly at my initial outrage.

Perhaps it's a case of the sentences for the more serious crimes you mentioned being too lenient rather than the sentences for a crime like this being too harsh?
