India stands for "I'll-Not-Do-It-Again"
More unpaid bills...this time for the Commonwealth Games.
He says he is owed $350,000 (£225,000) and the Indian government has not told him why he has not received his money.
"They don't answer correspondence, they've changed their phone numbers, they've changed their email address," he told me. "It's a rogue action."

They might not be able to organise a root in a brothel, but they can certainly organise a Swiss Bank account and some unidirectional money suction

"The total debt amounts to more than $80m (£50m) and some of the companies are now in danger of folding.
Their experience seems to support a recent World Bank survey which found that India was one of the hardest places in the world in which to do business, coming a lowly 134th out of 183 countries.
More damningly still, when it comes to enforcing contracts, the World Bank says that India is actually the second worst, coming only higher than East Timor."
Disgraceful is too kind a word.

I assume it's already been mentioned that some foreign players still haven't been paid their IPL wages?
I mean come on, can you imagine SRT or Dhoni not being paid on time? I'm sure they're paid on the dot every time. Joke.
And it's not like they don't have the money.

says it all really. i wonder how east timor managed to top us. over here if you deal with a customer for the first time you almost always insist on advance payments, especially if it involves the government
