By the way, we were watching in a pub so couldn't hear the commentary but did the Pats let the Giants score at the end there? I said with about 1.45 to go that they should have let them score and at least the Pats would have enough time to score again. That last TD looked like the Giants didn't want to score and the Pats were going to push him into the end zone.

If that's the play, ETF didn't they do 45 seconds earlier?

Anyway, Giants deserved it just for those big plays under pressure at the end where the receiver caught it just in bounds and then later two of the Pats had dropsies.

That's how the Live Score site wrote it up, JGK...

"1.44pm: TOUCHDOWN! The Giants remarkably tried not to score to run down the clock, but Ahmad Bradshaw was left with a huge hole to run through (left open on purpose by the Patriots) and went over. He tried to stop himself on the one-yard line but couldn't. Tom Brady has 57 seconds to get 80 yards to rescue New England. Giants 21 Patriots 17"

Some might say Peyton Manning is the greatest QB ever... now, others could argue he's not even the greatest in his family!

Looks like they're going to move Tebow on quickly. I know switching around completely to a pass-driven offense means he's perhaps not the right fit as a conventional backup QB to Manning, but surely you keep him as a "bits and pieces player" in cricketing speak, a QB/RB for mix-it-up plays? Would certainly keep opponents guessing what's coming next.

Maybe they can't justify that on salary grounds, though I don't think he was a first round pick so maybe not on that massive a deal, but they probably need to free up budget to give Peyton some weapons quickly as it's not like he's a long term project and they can gradually draft receivers for him over the next few years, they have to give him a winning team within a couple of seasons.

Farkin hilarious. The shitty Denver Broncos sign a QB who may or may not be physically able to play to replace a bloke who was hype over substance and badly found out.

I wonder what their plan B is when Peyton goes down as a quadriplegic in the first game of the season.
