Good to see Jadeja and Rohit being omitted from the squad.

Barring some serious form/injury issues this should be our 16-member squad for the WC.

Still feel this 'attack' would be cannon fodder for almost decent batting teams on any batting surface, its too late to induct anyone else now. Dhoni & co have goofed up big time on this.

We need the other Pathan, big time. This one's useful, but the other one gives us something extra, without being mind-bogglingly FTB.

BTW, what has Ojha done to deserve being dropped? Intelligent bowler, perhaps our best spinner.

Irfan isn't even in the preliminary world cup squad of 30.

Hard to understand why Irfan has been thrown out altogether despite a scarcity of bowling allrounders.

And Yusuf Pathan could do some real damage for India in the World Cup. FTB? Sure. But the pitches in the WC will be FTB heaven.

Irfan was injured and so wasn't named. Probably fit now but not many games to prove it.

Irfan is a classic case of a player's reputation growing by not being picked. Last time he played for India, he was bowling 125kph pies.

IF he can get back to where he was when he first started, ie bowling around 135-140kph with good swing into the right handers, then he could be a threat again.
