smerkles failure to deliver seems to have had the same impact on FB activity as Hildy has on Oz test prospects

Horrie: That was then, this is now. Get with the program, you old blackguard.
Four years ago, the place was full of Aussie fans creaming themselves. Now Zim has become a shadow of his former self, and even embee spreads himself a bit thinly. Only Skully keeps the torch flying. Poms don't know what to do with themselves - can't handle success.
Wait till you see the lurch of accelerated posting if Oz do the rightful and strike back in Perth.

Re: forum is near moribund
The forum is as busy as it ever was when an ashes test is on. It just seems that in between we don't have much to talk about. Perhaps in these uncertain times we all feel the need to work harder between the cricket, so as not to risk losing our jobs?
Or perhaps not.

Re: forum is near moribund
seems fair....zim was never the same after
1 his intellectual guru - spongebob squarepants - went off the air.
2 the little worriers started looking like Sth Aust when they tried to play cricket
3 the final confusion of the Vics selecting a player called Sheridan - same name as the manufacturer of his favourite white sheets

.......having a forum cry at the lunch interval, Lords 2005.
Quite ironic the biggest mouth was the one who went all trembly at the mere sniff of Australia being anything but perfect. Little wonder we hear sod all from the bugger these days.
