Who shoudl be the fourth bowler?
Two questions for Pom supporters (Third Test).
1. Who would YOU play to replace Broad?
2. Current speculation is that England may play safe and attempt to avoid defeat at their graveyard, Perth.
If you were asked to give your twopennorth to Flower and Strauss, would you advise playing to win, or play to draw? (Plan changeable of course, according to the way the game goes, but as an opening mindset.)
FWIW, my answers would be:
1. Tremlett
and
2. Play to win. Not recklessly, but to maintain the initiative as far as this is practicable.

Before the last tour game I would have said Tremlett, but seeing as all of our bowlers in that game were gash then having someone with a bit batting in them will probably be the way they go.
I'll stick with Tremlett, though with much trepidation.

Its clearly going to be Tremlett. Why else would they pick him for this tour? They are expecting a fast, bouncy pitch.
Of course England will play for the win. Why shouldn't they, their confidence is sky high and they have 3 chances to deliver the win to secure The Ashes for another series.

Who would the Aussies least like to face on a fast, bouncy pitch which apparently will have plenty of grass left on it? Obviously Tremlett.
Bresnan it is then.

Oz has lost India and South Africa and only beat the Windies by 35 runs in the last three WACA Tests

Maybe if our selectors start trying to second guess their opponants like Hilditch and co have been doing we'll end up calling Liz Hurley for the WACA?
