Is this a good thing or a bad thing for England? I'm trying to convince myself that we were due a collapse and that it's better it happens in this game than the test. Also, a loss here might help us to re-focus after Adelaide.

Clutching at straws?

Don't clutch at him. He needs to lead in Perth.

Meh. I doubt it matters much if England collapse to a 150-200 run loss - except regarding the second stringers one and all, for whom this game has already been a wasted chance to shine.

It only leaves the question of who is to be the third seamer unresolved. That IS a bit of a worry.

Warney, Nath, Mrs Hodge and Horrie all agree with you.

Neil Harvey too most probably.

Prior getting much needed time in the middle.

I hope Bresnan being promoted to number 6 doesn't mean what I think it might....

Just wait till horrie sees all the comments about Victoria being better than Australia. The colostomy bag will burst from all the excitement.

They're back on at the G. Poms should cruise from here.

How many times has Bell been dismissed on this tour. Must be about 2 for about 500 runs.

Herrick can't bowl any more in the innings, 2 waist high full tosses. Bowling is really thin now.

I was working on it skulls. Literally been a bit flooded down here...

And FWIW its 517 runs on this tour for the Bellmeister @ 103.40. 8 innings, 5 times out.
