I don't see why Aus don't wheel him out for some 3-4 over spells... pretty much made you look a different side in the one dayers here last summer

elbow injury and doesn't play 4 day cricket.

I reckon this might be pretty close to what I would do but maybe Midge for Bolly.

I know this smacks of England panic-tactics circa 1995 but has anyone seen Stuart Clark bowl lately?

We need someone who can keep it tight and maintain some pressure with a consistent line and length. He's still plodding around in the Shield for NSW. Would it be worth bringing him back on a wing and a prayer?

Meanwhile, Steve Smith has taken four wickets at the SCG today.

Admittedly, it was against South Australia, so it's a pretty useless form guide.

Suppose taking four crap wickets is still better than taking no wickets at all.

hmmn..I love how the nobs who run australian cricket talk about how we are in a rebuilding phase and the fans need to be patient ....the point is 5 of our top 7 are 30+...not much rebuilding going on here

Why? Do you want to shove a whole cooked chook down Hilditch's throat?

Didn't the selectors say he was too much like Glenn McGrath? Like that was a problem...

Khawaja for North

Why?........He's done F-all this season & was totally out of his depth in the AustA game. There's Fergy but he's only made one score this season against an undermanned Tassie side. JGK was right. There is'nt anyone who has put their hand up this year......in short....we're stuffed.
