Johnny Walker All Stars v Fans XI

The main competition in this match will be to see which of the channel nine commentators can sound the most over-excited.

There's not many people there in the crowd. Probably charging as much for tickets as for a proper day's cricket though.

I am fair dinkum, dead-set sick of these channel nein qunts saying 'this is the big stage' about this match.

Do they really think we're that stupid?

So all this game has achieved is a broken finger for Australia's reserve keeper Tim Paine.

Hayden clearly a better off-spinner than Hauritz. Why were we hiding him in the gully all these years?

I did love the half time conversation about the best Ashes moments for the various commentators. Tony Grieg looked mightily pissed off that he had to face Lillee and Thommo whereas Slats had to face Daffy and Mark Ilott.

I enjoyed the novelty & entertainment.

I loved MtB's backhander at selectors over Hodge.
