Re: The Federal Election Thread - 2007 (part two)
I should add, I had a few early bets on the ALP, so financially was on a win-win tonight.
And a bottle of johnnie Walker Blue was another wager that I've picked up.

Of course mate. I wouldn't be here if I didn't expect it. Krudd outcampaigned LJH convincingly. Andrew Robb needs to have a good hard look at himself.

Idiot Wozzies look to have given 2-3 seats to the Coalition.
On the other hand, Qld looks to have delivered 10 seats.

Only thing saving the Libs from a greater Rudd slide is the resources boom in WA.

'Moderate' Liberal MPs seem to going okay across the country.
Hockey, Turnbull, Costello himself... Petro Georgiou in Kooyong, Russell Broadbent in McMillan.
If Abbott is still on the frontbench next week, we'll know they aren't serious about the next election.

FWIW - I had about 4k of bets in this election and look like I've lost them all. Even Bowman where I backed the Lib candidate has been lost with a swing of 10%.
The only ALP bet I had was Mike Bailey in North Sydney which he lost.
All in all - totally worth it.
