I'm not sure how well the CLT20 players will adjust from playing T20 in South Africa to a test match in India in the space of five days.

Hopefully we get a pitch where the Aussie FTBs don't flourish.

It's only Dhoni and Raina though, don't think Sachin will have problems.

I'm pretty sure it will be flat, and i'm also pretty sure that neither attack is good enough to take 20 wickets. On to Bangalore then.....

Mohali now and then throws up a seamer friendly wicket Recall some years ago where India were bowled out for 100 or thereabouts by a not so potent Kiwi attack on Day 1.

as long as we dont get mugged in mohali. always poor starters to a series. 2 test series probably suit us the least

bhajji seems to be doubtful. ponting should be relieved

It wont a a seamer friendly wicket, that's for sure. The groundsman has had 5-6 days of sunshine now to prepare a flat pitch that will turn a lot by day 3.

that was mohali of the 90s. mohali of the last decade is more like kanpur than kingsmead
